Mary Lou and the
Untouchables have been thrilling audiences throughout Maryland with their hot
blend of rhythm and blues, classic rock, and original tunes since their first
appearance on Halloween of 1993. Their infectious beat and lively stage show
have captivated crowds at the Baltimore Arena, where they performed on stage with
Dana Carvey and David Spade; at their appearances with Clarence Clemmons of
the E Street Band; at Bally's Ocean Downs with Ray Charles, Walter "Wolfman"
Washington, the Nighthawks, and Roomful of Blues; at the Patapsco Arena where
they performed with the Drifters and Ronnie Dove, at the 2004 Inauguration of
Maryland Governor Robert Ehrlich and on the beach in Ocean
City with WAR and Taylor Dayne. Also, Mary Lou and the Untouchables earned the
title "Best Band on the Beach" in 1998 after competing in a three day Labor Day
weekend band festival which was sponsored by the Town of Ocean City and shortly
thereafter, the band was presented with the Key to the City from Ocean City
Mayor Jim Mathias. True to their local roots, the band continues to bring down
the house at Maryland's hottest clubs, including the Hard Rock Cafe, Fager's
Island, Seacrets, The Jetty, and the Barn.
